As you know by now, a great group of us made it to our 60th Birthday Party at the Lakeside Pub in Packanack on June 12, 2010. The title, Cake & Cocktails! The cake was provided by Lin Schapiro and I purchased our ballons, plates etc. & a light up birthday pin for the "Popular" people! (You know who you are). It was a fab-a-lis surprise for all of us to see who came through the door next. Many of us didn't make plans until the last minute for dinner, but we met so many classmates in the restaurant "Gencarelli's", which is attached to the bar at the front of the building - ya know the "old sweetshop" gone Italian.
The first person I met was Kenny Kunze! What a thrill for us as we haven't seen each other in 32 years...next Dave Janssen who advised us that he has a 5 year old. You go Dave! The band at the Pub played "They Say It's Your Birthday (Beatles) for their opener. How appropriate!
We had a small group but lively and full of future plans! (and you know who you are). Steve Christensen gets the Dance-Man award and I get the Dancin' Queen award! haha.. I thank all of you for coming to celebrate and truly appreciate your lonnngggg time friendship. It's where we started our lives.
So for the next celebration, 2013, for our 45th, don't think about if you want to attend, or if you might attend...just join us! Life is short...so live it up while you can. And, for those of you who are not on facebook (great place to find so many of us) -
On a very upsetting note: Jeff Beck was stricken with cancer last year. Please place him on your prayer list!

In February, I was able to find my best girl friends in Florida this winter. I met up with Karen & Suzie O'Neil in Delray Beach Florida and then I had a short sweet visit with Jackie O'Neil. How great is was too see them after 42 years.
And...thanks to Steve Christensen, he led me to Jen Giordano (WH '68) and she invited me to have dinner with her and Linda Ossi (WH '68) my best friend, cheerleader partner & birthday buddie, May 26th. We met in Sarasota FL, and the 3 of us had a fabulous time together. Thank you Stevie! So,,,this coming winter we will have a Florida reunion for those of you who are lucky to be in the warm south. Enjoy the pictures!
